Arrow to deliver Microsoft training across Europe

Arrow Electronics has signed a contract with Microsoft to renew its deal to deliver Redmond's training portfolio across the EMEA region. The new agreement confirms Arrow’s relationship as a Microsoft Learning Partner and extends its geographical reach.

The scope of available training spans from Microsoft’s cloud solutions to certification-related courses using the Open edX Learning Platform and Microsoft On Demand technology. The list of training topics includes Azure and Dynamics CRM; Windows Server and Client; Office 365, Exchange, Sharepoint and Skype for Business; SQL and data management solutions; and PowerShell, Visual Studio and .NET.

“Cloud solutions are at the heart of our strategy and education is a key element of the value-added services at Arrow, enabling the market and the channel to support technology providers with product and solution readiness”, said Jacques Assant, business development services director for Arrow ECS EMEA. “Online learning solutions like Open edX are completely in line with our eLearning strategy and complement the Arrow catalogue of digital learning assets.”

“Arrow leverage their expertise and learning as a service offering, helping to transform our customers and other partner businesses via cloud-based solutions”, said Kyle Uphoff, senior director of worldwide channel sales for Microsoft Learning & Readiness. Earlier this month, Arrow become a strategic distribution partner for security vendor Symantec across the EMEA region.
