ALSO in cloud platform deal with Russian distributor

ALSO and Treolan have signed a partnership agreement, which will enable distributor Treolan to offer its customers a wide range of SaaS, IaaS and DaaS services across Russia.

Treolan is part of the LANIT Group, which in 2017 generated a turnover of $2.4bn. With this new partnership, the sixth that ALSO has signed since 2015, Treolan's channel partners will be able to manage the seats of their end-customers and develop, run and manage applications without the complexity typically involved in maintaining an adequate infrastructure.

Gustavo Möller-Hergt, CEO of ALSO Holding: "We have strategically expanded our platform-as-a-service offering across various geographies over the last few years. We already manage two million seats with our platform and have potential access to ten million. As a result of our partnership with Treolan, customers in Russia will benefit from a state-of-the-art platform and dramatically reduced complexity.”

Gregory Sverdlikov, CEO of Treolan, said: "This partnership is a game-changing opportunity for Treolan. The ALSO Cloud Marketplace helps us reach our partners more efficiently and provide unbeatable service to our more than 2,900 channel partners and their end-customers.

“On top of our Microsoft CSP programme, which we are launching immediately, we will be ready for the new software subscription programme which will soon be released by Microsoft.”

ALSO has been busy signing up local distribution partners: in June 2016, ALSO signed a partnership with Logicom to provide its marketplace platform to partners in 13 countries in Southern Europe and the Middle East. In December 2015, it agreed to bring the platform to Westcoast customers in the UK and Ireland. Treolan, founded in 1990, is part of LANIT Group and deals with partners across over 230 cities in Russia.
