Security vendor Centrify has extended its distribution deal with StarLink to cover Europe, after previously using the firm to support its operations in the Middle East, Turkey and Africa (META), where it has been acting for it over the last year.
Following the recruitment of new partners in MEA, Dubai-headquartered StarLink will now focus on increasing the number of Centrify identity and security partners in Central Europe, Northern Europe and Southern Europe, helping to onboard them and push the delivery of professional services in each region.
Niall McGrane, VP Europe at StarLink tells IT Europa that the privately-held business is growing rapidly and has over 300 employees: "In FY2017 we achieved $200m in turnover, our FY2018 revenue goal is $300m."
US-headquartered Centrify moved to a two-tier model more than two years ago, and recently announced the expansion of its EMEA channel team with the appointment of Eric Dobbelaar, Tony Sanchez and Sascha Schmidt to manage Northern Europe, Southern Europe and Central Europe respectively.
Centrify EMEA channel director John Andrews said: “Over the past 12 months StarLink has demonstrated an incredible commitment and ability to drive and support the Centrify business, articulate our messaging around Zero Trust Security, and deliver first class partner and customer support.”
He said: “This expansion will strengthen our overall distribution strategy and growth in EMEA, and having the additional resources on the ground in territory from StarLink will expedite our ability to reach new partner networks in order to meet our planned partner breadth targets in all regions.”

Centrify’s Identity Services Platform is built to protect companies against the leading point of attack for cyberthreats and data breaches - compromised credentials.”
StarLink says it currently has “on the ground” presence in 13 countries, including in the UK and the US. It claims to have a channel network of over 1,000 partners. At the end of 2016, StarLink opened a European hub in Mayfair, London and said it aimed to double EMEA turnover in three years through organic growth.
