Core to Cloud fills security gap with Silobreaker deal

Silobreaker, the Swedish vendor that provides products and services that aggregate, analyse and contextualise digital information, has signed up Core to Cloud as a new UK channel partner. The company launched a channel programme in March this year.

IT cloud solutions provider Core to Cloud delivers technologies that help organisations discover, defend and respond to the latest security threats on the horizon, and ensure compliance. The Silobreaker platform can be used for general business intelligence, brand protection or straightforward security.

James Cunningham, director of Core to Cloud, said: “Currently there is a gap in our portfolio whereby the Silobreaker solution sits very nicely, helping our customers to 'cut through the noise' and understand the real threats and risks to their business.

“Also, because it is a SaaS-based solution, customers can get going quickly which is another big tick in the box as far as we are concerned.”

Core to Cloud will have full access to Silobreaker’s full portfolio of tools and visualisations that analyse data from hundreds of thousands of open sources. Kristofer Mansson, CEO of Silobreaker, said: “Our business has grown rapidly in the past few years and we are now taking the next step in our growth strategy by engaging and enabling a partner channel.

“Core to Cloud is a good fit for our business here in the UK and our SaaS-based security intelligence tools will meet the needs of many of Core to Cloud’s customers and prospects.”

Silobreaker has previously told IT Europa it wants to sign up between 10 and 20 partners in the US and UK over the next 12 months, and have between 50 and 100 partners within three years, but spread globally, not just in the US and UK.
