Total Computers in HQ move to boost services

Total Computers has completed a move to a new head office (pictured) and centre of operations in Kettering, Northamptonshire, as it seeks to boost service revenues.

“We last increased head office space in 2013 and in that time our turnover has more than doubled, with headcount not far behind that,” said Aidan Groom, managing director of Total Computers.

“The move provides the space to support our continued growth, with 40% more productive space for a relatively modest rent increase,” said Groom. “Over the last few years we’ve built a successful managed services operation, that clearly has strong customer appeal, and I expect this to more than double in size during the next year.”

Once the offices of a local newspaper publisher, the new headquarters have been re-designed to provide Total with a “high-specification, purpose-configured office space”, the firm said.

“The move has given us the opportunity to take an almost blank sheet of paper approach to the layout and I expect the resultant design to deliver countless small operational benefits, as well as providing us with a facility at which we can host both customer and partner events,” added Groom.
