Freshworks has enhanced its executive team by appointing Abe Smith as Chief of Global Field Operations, aiming to boost its enterprise sales growth.
Smith (pictured), with nearly 25 years of experience, previously held key positions at Zoom, Cision, Oracle, and Cisco/WebEx.
He will report to CEO Girish Mathrubootham and President Dennis Woodside, who said: “Abe is a leader who has successfully scaled field sales from local to international and mid-market to enterprise.”
“His expertise will be invaluable to Freshworks as we accelerate our field sales to meet soaring demand and complement our in-bound motion, all with the goal of reaching $1 billion in annual revenue in 2026.”
