Altran buys Dutch IS specialist

French consulting firm Altran Technologies has bought a Dutch Intelligent Systems specialist TASS for an undisclosed amount.

French consulting firm Altran Technologies has bought a Dutch Intelligent Systems specialist TASS for an undisclosed amount.

TASS, which operates in the Netherlands and Belgium, will be added to Altran’s global network of 3,500 experts. Also, following the acquisition, Altran will leverage TASS’ expertise in the areas such as autonomous systems, smartphones, smart meters, medical devices and advanced air traffic control.

TASS was founded as part of Philips Group and is a specialist in embedded software in the semiconductors, consumer electronics and healthcare sectors.
