Connectivity and automation services firm Boomi has appointed David Meredith as chief executive officer, effective from January 31, 2022.
Meredith (pictured) comes to Boomi from Nasdaq-listed enterprise software vendor Everbridge, and will succeed Chris McNabb, who plans to retire.
Enterprises are managing more applications than ever before, but very few of them are integrated, resulting in fragmented processes and experiences, says Boomi.
It says it makes it “quick and easy” for companies to unify their full digital ecosystems, by automating workflows and minimising disruption across applications, so that data can flow seamlessly throughout an organisation.
Private equity firms Francisco Partners and TPG acquired Boomi from Dell Technologies earlier this year, in a $4 billion transaction that established Boomi as an independent company.
“In a world where data represents the most valuable asset, an enterprise's ability to understand, integrate and optimise that data becomes paramount,” said Meredith. “Boomi's cloud-native technology serves as critical infrastructure and enables companies to compete, win and grow in today's digital environment.”
Brian Decker of Francisco Partners said: “David's track record of scaling category-leading software-as-a-service and infrastructure providers, and his thought leadership within the industry, make him the perfect choice to lead Boomi through its next phase of growth.”
