Dell has announced it has chosen Pironet NDH, provider of cloud computing, as one of its first partners under the Dell’s programme for Managed Service Providers in Germany, it says.
Pironet relies entirely on domestic service provision according to German contract law both for operations and data centre location so it guarantees that all customers’ assets are located in Germany, it says.
Dell’s programme targets midmarket and aim to assist companies to migrate their IT systems into a cloud while delivering support to Germany-based cloud providers in expanding their infrastructure and improve the technologies, it says.
“The cooperation with Pironet NDH means that we at Dell can now recommend an outstanding partner for off-site solutions in the SAP environment and complex application scenarios to our customers and also satisfy the strict German data privacy regulations,” comments Jürgen Domnik, Director Strategic Programs at Dell.
