
Networking services firm GCX Managed Services has appointed Luca Simonelli as senior vice president for channel and global alliances.
With over two decades of experience scaling businesses, he will spearhead the expansion of GCX's global partner ecosystem. In this role, he will focus on deepening relationships with key technology vendors and engaging telecom operators and service providers that rely on GCX as a trusted partner for global connectivity and managed services.
In addition to his global alliance responsibilities, he will also lead GCX’s operations in Italy, overseeing commercial activities and local teams.
He joins GCX from Cato Networks, where he served as vice president for EMEA. Prior to this, he held leadership positions at OpenDNS (now part of Cisco), Lastline, Fortinet and Attachmate.
-Zero Networks, a zero trust security solutions specialist, has named Tony Hadzima as vice president of sales for EMEA and LATAM. The strategic hire supports the company’s global expansion and rising demand for its microsegmentation and zero trust offerings.
Hadzima brings nearly 30 years of international sales and business leadership experience. He spent 15 years at Palo Alto Networks, where he became the company’s first employee in Spain and its 126th worldwide. He held multiple leadership roles there: Country manager of Iberia, VP South Europe, and VP EMEA and LATAM for smart industries OT/IoT security.
In June 2025, Zero Networks announced $55m in Series C funding to fuel its next phase of growth, including team expansion across sales and marketing, research and development, and customer support.
-Kao Data, the developer and operator of AI‑ready data centres, has appointed industry veteran Clinton Hasell as chief business officer to lead UK and European site development, core business operations and enterprise‑level reporting.
Bringing 30 years’ commercial and operational expertise from senior roles at Global Switch, Interxion and Digital Realty, Hasell will drive process optimisation, data‑driven decision‑making and the strategic technology deployments that underpin Kao Data’s expansion across AI, cloud and enterprise markets.
-SES Space & Defense has appointed David Broadbent as president and CEO. His appointment coincides with the completion of SES’ acquisition of Intelsat.
As part of the acquisition, SES has combined the government and defence divisions of both companies under one integrated organisation, creating SES Space & Defense.
Broadbent has over 20 years of leadership experience in the satellite communications and defence sector. He was previously president of government solutions at Intelsat. He also spent 21 years at Raytheon Technologies in a variety of senior business leadership roles, including serving as president of the company’s Space Systems business unit.
-SquareX, the browser security company, has brought in Steve Mullett as vice president of sales.
He has previously held senior roles at Wiz, Okta, EMC, and other firms.
He will now lead SquareX's enterprise sales strategy and GTM operations.
-Reality Defender, the deepfake detection platform, has announced Alex Lisle as its chief technology officer. Lisle will support Reality Defender delivering “cutting-edge” deepfake detection technology to developers and enterprises, as the company continues to scale new and existing offerings for leading financial institutions, government organisations, and other verticals.
Most recently, Lisle led incubation engineering at SecurityScorecard, where he focused on developing emerging cybersecurity technologies. Prior to that, he served as CTO at Hubble Technology, driving innovation in agentless asset visibility, and at Kryptowire, where he advanced mobile app and IoT security solutions.
-JK Tech has named Vijai Ganesh as chief delivery officer for its digital transformation services. With more than 28 years of data and analytics experience, Ganesh has extensive experience leading and implementing complex digital transformation programmes, including managing data-driven innovation at global enterprises.
He will oversee global delivery and operations across all service lines, focusing on scalable, metric-driven execution, talent enablement, and customer value.
Before joining JK Tech, he was vice president at Tredence Analytics, where he led transformational programmes across various verticals. Before Tredence, he spent over 13 years at Infosys, where he held multiple senior-level roles, including associate vice president, senior director, and delivery head for the telco and hi-tech verticals. Before that, he worked at Honeywell Technology Solutions and Ramco Systems in leadership roles, focusing on business intelligence and infrastructure.
-Verne, the provider of sustainably-powered HPC data centres across the Nordics, has announced the appointment of Tero Sario as group projects director. This newly created role underscores Verne's commitment to the continued expansion of its data centre capacity, with Sario overseeing major projects currently underway in Finland, including a new 70 MW campus in Mäntsälä, and the expansion of the existing Vantaa campus.
Sario brings three decades of project management expertise across the energy and industrial sectors. Most recently, he spent ten years at renewable energy company Neste, where he held senior project management roles spanning oil and gas, renewable energy, and circular economy initiatives. Prior to Neste, Sario dedicated 20 years to the power generation industry across various leadership positions, building deep expertise in complex process management and project delivery.
-Tines, the intelligent workflow platform for security and IT teams, has appointed Heather Planishek as its chief operating and financial officer.
Prior to joining Tines, Planishek served as chief accounting officer at Palantir Technologies, where she guided the company through a period of significant growth and its transition to the public markets. She has also held finance and operational roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Ernst & Young.
In her new role, she will oversee global operations and finance, bringing deep expertise in operational strategy and financial discipline to help Tines scale globally and deliver long-term value for customers, said Tines.
