Neophase Technologies, a UK-based private cloud software and services company, is to offer Piston OpenStack in Europe. Piston OpenStack software allows DevOps teams to deploy and manage an OpenStack private cloud without IT operations expertise or specialised appliances. Providing virtualised compute, storage, networking, and management through self-service interfaces and APIs, and interoperable with PaaS and big data solutions, Piston OpenStack claims to offer the agility and cost savings of public cloud without having to manage an on-premise solution.
Neophase offers Piston's turn-key software product that allows customers to build a secure, scalable, cost-effective private cloud either hosted either on premise or off premise in one of Neophase's partner data centres.
