Benelux integrator Ordina is entering into a partnership with unified endpoint management and security solutions supplier Tanium to help customers gain valuable insight into their critical IT resources and combat cybercrime.
By using Tanium’s platform, Ordina aims to provide its customers with the awareness that contributes to better security and keeping software for their equipment up to date, whether it concerns laptops, servers, virtual machines, containers or cloud infrastructure.
Peter Groenewegen, responsible for cyber detection and response at Ordina, believes there are many opportunities in the industry where the maturity and resilience of organisations in the field of cyber detection and response can be greatly improved.
With Tanium, he said Ordina can offer multiple solutions on one platform. “Organisations can start small and then expand,” Groenewegen explains. “Where you normally needed three different solutions, you can do with one product here. It’s a great efficiency boost and you also reduce the footprint on the network.”
According to Groenewegen, Tanium shows what the IT landscape looks like, what risks there are and how you can solve this step by step.
“This lays a good foundation for increasing the digital resilience of organizations,” he adds. “Ordina uses the platform as part of the services we offer customers to make their organisation more resilient.”
Wytze Rijkmans, regional VP at Tanium added: “Having complete visibility into all IT assets within an organisation is more important than ever. Tanium provides an integrated platform from which potential vulnerabilities can be quickly identified, isolated, repaired and, most importantly, prevented. The combination with Ordina's platform and expertise makes this solution even more powerful."
