Arctic Wolf appoints EMEA channel director

Cyber security services firm Arctic Wolf has appointed Johnny Ellis as its EMEA channel director.

He is based in the UK and will be focused on recruiting an even larger partner ecosystem as the company continues to expand, said Arctic Wolf.

Ellis joins from distributor Arrow ECS, where he was UK sales director for over 16 years. He will also be looking to develop a “stronger MSP proposition and distribution strategy”, the firm added.

At the moment, Arctic Wolf has 94 partners in 12 countries across EMEA, growing at around 20 partners a quarter.

“Arctic Wolf is a truly channel and partner first organisation, and I am excited to lead the charge and drive that mission as we expand our presence across Europe,” said Ellis.

“Our focus is on helping partners become active and successful rather than just signing for the sake of signing.”

Earlier this year, Arctic Wolf acquired incident response firm Tetra Defense to boost its security intelligence and ransomware remediation capability.

US-headquartered Arctic Wolf has its EMEA headquarters in Newcastle upon Tyne in England.
