Global technology provider Arrow Electronics has become a new distribution partner for VAST Data, a storage software infrastructure company.
As part of the agreement, Arrow will help accelerate the adoption of VAST Data’s Universal Storage platform by extending its reach with channel partners and markets across Europe.
“With VAST Data, customers can realise the benefits of an all-flash data centre without the usual cost barriers,” said Alexis Brabant (pictured), vice president of sales for Arrow’s enterprise computing solutions business in Europe. “VAST Data has brought something new to the market, and we’re pleased to be working with them in Europe to help them to further scale their business.”
Channel customers can now purchase Universal Storage through Gemini, VAST Data’s storage business model where users can buy their storage hardware.
“Over the last two years, we’ve grown very quickly, quadrupling our sales in the last 12 months,” added Kate Goodwin, director of channel for EMEA and Asia Pacific at VAST Data. “We’re looking forward to working with Arrow in Europe to enable the success of an even larger number of trusted channel partners as they introduce Universal Storage to their customers.”
With over 180,000 customers worldwide, the deal comes after Arrow generated $29bn (£21bn) in revenue in 2020.
