Cato Networks taps Rauch as global channel chief

Cato Networks has bolstered its channel leadership team with the appointment Frank Rauch (pictured) as Global Channel Chief to meet the growing demand for SASE and SSE.

The long-time channel veteran has spent his career developing, managing, and growing global partner ecosystems at Check Point, VMware, and HPE.

He will be responsible for driving the channel ecosystem globally and helping partners to profit from the enterprise shift to cloud-native networking and security.

Rauch said: "The cloud is the enterprise's present and future, appliances are its past. Forward-thinking channel partners know their future lies in the cloud, but they need the right platform and technology partner to profit from the cloud. After doing my due diligence, I found Cato to be that partner.”

In addition to hiring Rauch, Cato also brought in three other recruits, including Robert Holley as assistant VP for VAR, resellers, and service providers, Americas; Shane Hallen as Director of Service Provider Sales, Americas; and Paolo Maestripie as Director of Service Provider Sales, EMEA.

The company has also promoted Ron Hamlett to the role of AVP, Technology Services Distributors and Agents and Mark Draper as AVP for Channel Sales within the EMEA.
