Following on from recently signing data storage hardware and software firm NetApp for the UK and Ireland, distributor Exclusive Networks has sealed an EMEA-wide partnership with cloud data management and protection vendor Druva.
Druva’s Data Security Cloud Platform has been added to Exclusive Networks’ portfolio.
Paul Eccleston, senior vice president for EMEA at Exclusive Networks, said: “Organisations are currently facing a huge data dilemma - how do they leverage data for business success, while utilising, managing and protecting it across an increasingly disparate and complex IT landscape in the cloud, SaaS environments and on-premise? With Druva’s data security solution, partners can now solve this dilemma and address their customers’ need for greater data security and resilience.”
Ian Parslow, senior director for partners and distribution at Druva, added: “Exclusive Networks' cyber security specialism and disruptive approach to innovative technologies makes them the ideal partner to help us challenge legacy data security methods, expand our reach, and grow our business across EMEA.
“Their extensive partner ecosystem and proven track record of driving growth for innovative cloud-native solutions aligns perfectly with our mission to transform how customers protect and manage their data in the cloud era. We look forward to working with them and their partners.”
Last week, Exclusive Networks posted a 10% increase in third-quarter sales. The Euronext-listed company is currently in talks with equity investment firms to take it private, in a deal that was valued at €2.2 billion this July.
Previously, for the half-year, Exclusive reported sales of €723m, which was an annual drop of 7% when compared to last year’s first six months. This was said to be mainly down to lower hardware sales. Adding NetApp to the portfolio in the big UK market may boost hardware sales, however.
