Mark Bowling (pictured) is now ExtraHop's CISRO, tasked with developing security and risk management strategies to boost the company's growth.
Bowling boasts a diverse resume, featuring experience combating cybercrime in FBI and Department of Education leadership roles, and serving as a US Navy Nuclear Officer.
He will report to ExtraHops’s Chief Legal and Compliance Officer Lauren Zajac, who said: “As a noted and respected leader in the industry, Mark is in a unique position to provide a new way of adapting security strategies that focus on a holistic view of network activity.”
Bowling added: “I’m eager to bring my decades-long experience in the government and healthcare sectors to this new role as we help enterprises capitalise on the value of the network so they can elevate their security posture.”
