IT services provider Hitachi Vantara has appointed Duncan Mears as its new head of sales for the UK and Ireland market.
He has worked in the IT services space for about 30 years, including an 18-year stint at Accenture, before moving onto Capita, and then most recently Cognizant.
At Cognizant, he led its BPO (business process outsourcing) and transformation business across the UK and Ireland and mainland Europe.
