Movilizer, a fast-growing European company that offers a Mobile Enterprise Application Platform (MEAP) with SAP-integration, has officially opened its Benelux office to expand and grow the business in the region.
It says it is seeing growth in the Benelux thanks to important customer wins, so needs to build a strong local organization. “Movilizer’s strategy is to establish local support for our customers and partners in its main markets,” Jan Vermeesch, Director Business Development & Marketing, tells ITEuropa. “Today we have business development people on the ground in Spain, France, UK, Denmark, Germany, Mexico, US and the Philippines. Our objective is to grow these team into small entities either by recruiting people locally (we are doing this in Spain and France as we speak), setting up joint-ventures (as we did in Asia-PAC) or making small strategic acquisitions of which the Benelux is an example. The most important driver is our capability to deliver prime customer service, above the format of the local initiative.”
Improved support for partners and customers will fuel its future successes, he says. “Large and medium-sized enterprises are embracing mobile processes and adopting a mobile strategy at high speed. They are actively looking for reliable technology partners to develop and implement a robust mobile platform and support their most critical business processes. As enterprises in the Benelux are also rapidly moving to mobile operations the opening of a local office was a logical next step for Movilizer. The acquisition and integration of its local partner Buzzaroo enables Movilizer to be up to full business speed from day one onwards.”
