TD SYNNEX refocuses services on circular economy

TD synnex is shifting its services business unit strategy to prioritise the circular economy.

Following a review, the service business unit will now focus on providing improved trade-in and IT asset disposition (ITAD) options, alongside services like Tech as a Service (TaaS), to meet customer sustainability needs.

It will also introduce value-added services including tailored configuration, extended warranties, and net zero consultancy for their customers.

Sophia Haywood-Atkinson (pictured), Business Unit Director at TD Synnex UK, said: "Being able to drive sustainable choices and derive value from IT products' lifecycle will be vital to all partner businesses.

“Device-as-a-service is increasingly popular and we are seeing more tenders stipulating that a certain proportion of products must be refurbished. This is already a big area of potential for our partners and, as it continues to accelerate and grow, we will be ready to support them in delivering on customer expectations and maximising the potential.”

She emphasised that the approach will cater to both SMB and enterprise sector partners.

“Small businesses need to drive sustainability as much as large organisations and we will be making sure that our services portfolio is suited to their needs and accessible to all partners.”
