NTT company Transatel, a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) enabler in the UK, has signed 12 new deals.
The new agreements include collaborations with PE (previously known as Pozitive Energy), expanding its services to include mobile within its telecoms portfolio, and VMobile, the UK's first 5G mobile network powered by blockchain.
With ongoing investments in solutions, including the recent addition of VoLTE and Wi-Fi calling capabilities for MVNO partners, Transatel continues to expand.
Jacques Bonifay, CEO of Transatel, said: “Transatel takes pride in being a trusted partner for many MVNOs entering the UK market, across a wide range of B2B and B2C verticals. Our 14 years of experience, coupled with our commitment to advancing technology, make us an ideal choice for businesses looking to thrive in the ever-evolving MVNO landscape.”
Transatel is able to offer its services to MVNOs through its partnership with BT Wholesale, providing access to the EE mobile network.
Nick Wootten, BT Wholesale MVNO director, added: "BT Wholesale continues to invest in our wholesale partnerships, with the launch of new technologies like VoLTE and eSIM on the Transatel platform, as well as access to the EE network. Our partnership allows MVNOs to launch to market quickly and efficiently in the UK, through a business that has demonstrated consistent performance for many years.”
