Version 1 boosts revenue by €20m with Farsight acquisition

Digital services firm Version 1 has acquired Farsight Consulting, a UK-based firm specialising in public sector digital transformations, increasing its revenue by about €20m and adding 133 staff members.

The two companies, having previously collaborated on several significant government projects, will now expand their joint efforts across this space.

Tom O’Connor, CEO at Version 1, said: “Farsight operates a closely matched model to ours, so we will be able to quickly realise the synergies and pass on the benefits straight away to our customers. We look forward with anticipation to making this happen.”

Pete Masters, Founder and Chairman of Farsight, added: “Our combined efforts will accelerate our mission which has always been to solve complex problems in a way that makes a real difference to users and to society.”

The acquisition awaits clearance under the National Security and Investment Act 2021.
