Distributor ALSO has confirmed its CEO succession planning. As of 1 May, 2024, Wolfgang Krainz will replace Gustavo Möller-Hergt as the head business honcho.
Möller-Hergt announced his impending retirement in May 2023, but he will continue as president of the board of directors of the company.
Krainz has been with the firm since 2016, most recently as regional chief customer officer in Austria and Central and Eastern Europe.
“Over the last few years, ALSO has built a successful ecosystem, which we will continue to expand in the future. To further accelerate our sustainable profitable growth, the organisation is going to focus more strongly on sales aspects. More details will be announced shortly,” said Krainz.
“With Wolfgang, we have now chosen a CEO with strong sales and leadership skills from within the group,” added Möller-Hergt.
