Optical networking components vendor ADVA has launched a separate networking security services firm.
The ADVA Network Security business will develop, produce and integrate encryption technology able to withstand increasingly sophisticated threats, including ransomware, said ADVA.
With its own IT infrastructure and data centre facilities in Germany, the company will collaborate with national security organisations to ensure end-to-end network protection, including safeguarding data against strikes from powerful quantum computers.
“We’re ensuring that networks can deliver new levels of protection to safeguard ever-more sensitive communications, such as national security services,” said Michael Roth (pictured), GM of ADVA Network Security.
“Our new independent organisation of highly specialised security experts will provide protection for the most sensitive data in motion at every network layer.”
