Auxilion plans UK acquisition as part of £15m expansion

Ireland-headquartered IT services provider Auxilion says it is planning to acquire a “mid-tier” UK company as part of a £15m UK expansion drive.

Auxilion said it plans to increase its existing UK workforce by 60 people over the next two years.

Operating from Sheffield, Telford and Warrington in the UK, the company said part of it investment will go towards its Services Centre of Excellence in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, which delivers 24/7 support to companies including Dell, HP Inc, BT, Canford Health, Applegreen and Mainstream Renewable Power.

Earlier this year, Auxilion reported it was on course to grow its revenues by 25% by the end of 2022, when compared to 2021, taking its revenues beyond £40m.

Philip Maguire (pictured), CEO of Auxilion, said: “Our acquisition plans and this significant investment show how committed we are to expanding our presence in the UK market, where we have operated for more than 20 years.

“The north of England offers unique opportunities, most notably due to the access it provides to top-quality talent.”
