Digital enablement services provider AVI-SPL has announced it has agreed to acquire Dublin-based AV integration specialist Sonics, further strengthening its capabilities in Europe and its global footprint.
Sonic offers audio-visual and workplace solutions to companies of all sectors in Ireland and across Europe, with AVI-SPL anticipating growth opportunity with Sonics in its local market, bolstering its operations in the region.

The deal, which is expected to close next week, will see Sonics become an extension of the existing AVI-SPL UK team. Together, both firms will unite to offer newly expanded capabilities in response to increased customer demand in Europe.
