Driving expanded portfolio
Swedish security specialist Axis Communications has named Verena Rathjen as EMEA vice president. In her new role, she aims to drive the strategic direction of the company’s expanded solution offering in a growing market. Previously to joining Axis, Verena Rathjen’s most recent position was as vice president at global lighting company LEDVANCE, where she was responsible for the global SMART business and defining portfolio and business.
"Axis is a fast-growing company, with a continuously expanding portfolio of products and solutions. Naturally, we need to develop our organisation to further strengthen our leading position in a growing and changing market. The EMEA region is big and diverse, and shows a lot of opportunities. Verena Rathjen will have vital role in driving the strategic expansion of Axis’ business in this market and working together with very strong regional management teams,” says Bodil Sonesson, vice president for global sales at Axis.
