Cloud-enabled security provider Barracuda Networks has unveiled a series of new enhancements to its security-centric, cloud-based remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform, Barracuda RMM.
The latest version of Barracuda’s RMM offering allows MSPs to expand endpoint protection, the company claims.
“With our ongoing enhancements to Barracuda RMM, we are continuing to support MSPs by providing them with a solution to improve their security offerings as well as constantly looking at ways to improve our partner experiences to make sure they are keeping their customers secure in an ever-changing landscape," said Jason Howells (pictured), VP, MSP international sales at Barracuda MSP.
“While many MSPs want to make security an integral part of their daily management and monitoring routine, they often run up against a lack of time, resources or internal expertise, the new enhancements to Barracuda RMM is helping them to keep their customers secure and to focus on what really matters to them,” he added.
Barracuda RMM now includes new integrations with Windows Defender Antivirus, updates to Microsoft and third-party software patch management functionality, enhanced integration with Barracuda Intronis Backup, and ServiceNow Service Desk integration.
Other additional improvements to the platform include enhanced support for macOS, a new MSI installs package for Barracuda RMM Device Manager agent for Windows, improved alert emails functionalities, enhanced searching of reports, and more.
“RMM tools must become part of an MSP’s daily client security posture assessment and remediation, said Chris Crellin, senior director of product management at Barracuda MSP.
“Today, we are making those tasks easier for service providers to drive business value within their customer base, by adding new features and capabilities focused on mitigating security risks and protecting customers’ data and applications.”
