German giant integrator Bechtle has bought two more businesses, building its offerings in IT security and 3D CAD.
R.Bücker EDV-Beratung Datentechnik GmbH (Bücker), headquartered in Hille, East Westphalia was. Founded in 1992 and is a specialist in IT security. It employs 43 people and generated revenues of more than €16m in 2017.
The sale also enables the IT consultancy to secure the eventual succession to founders Rosemarie and Peter Bücker, who are continuing to serve as managing directors of the company. Following the sale, which is still subject to approval by the relevant competition authorities, the company is to operate under the name Bücker Security GmbH.
Coffee GmbH, with headquarters in Angelburg in Hessen and seven other branches throughout Germany is a CAD software specialist, founded in 1997. With revenues of €10.2m in the 2017 financial year, Coffee currently employs some 70 employees.
In Germany, Bechtle is represented in the market by SolidLine, Solidpro, and C-CAM, in Austria by planetsoftware and in Switzerland by Solid Solutions. With 37 branches and some 450 employees, the Bechtle Group claims it is currently the largest SOLIDWORKS partner in Europe, holding the highest certification status.
