Bechtle has been awarded Ecovadis Gold status for its sustainability efforts, advancing from five years of Silver status.
This achievement highlights Bechtle's success in its 2030 sustainability strategy, particularly in sustainable procurement, where it ranks in the top 1% of IT companies.
Ecovadis' analysis, covering areas like Environment, Labour Rights, Ethics, and Procurement, scored Bechtle 73 out of 100, placing it in the top 2% of IT companies assessed.
This score represents a six-point increase from the previous year, the German IT services provider said.
Arthur Schneider, Head of Sustainability Management, Bechtle AG said: “The Ecovadis Gold Status is not only a great achievement for us, but also affirmation that sustainability and technical advancement can go hand in hand.
“The Gold medal is also recognition of our team, which has embedded sustainable practices into the heart of our corporate strategy.”
