Bechtle AG is set to purchase dataformers GmbH in Linz, the 100th acquisition in the company’s history. Headquartered in Linz, dataformers has branches in Vienna and Eisenstadt. The custom software and IoT solutions specialist was founded in 2009 and today has 55 employees, including 35 software developers. In 2019, its revenues amounted to €5.5m.
dataformers creates individual digital ecosystems for its customers, in particular manufacturing businesses located in Upper Austria and Salzburg. The current executive team of Thomas Gratz and Wilfried Mausz will continue at the helm of the company. datafomers will retain its established name and join the Bechtle Group as an subsidiary of Bechtle Austria. The acquisition remains subject to the approval by the relevant competition authorities.
