BOM IT Solutions has appointed David Trump as cyber security solutions director to spearhead and grow the company’s new IT security division.
BOM IT Solutions provides SMEs and enterprises with business systems and managed services in the UK and internationally.
Trump (pictured) said: “I have been working in technology for the past 15 years, from BT Global Services, supporting some of the biggest multinational organisations in the world and government departments, to more recently, Phoenix Datacom, supplying customers with specialist cutting edge tools to help secure their infrastructures.
“At BOM IT Solutions I’ll be able to shape the security division to my vision, which is an exciting opportunity.”
As part of growing the security division Trump will be looking at the company’s existing vendor base, to determine whether those suppliers “still have relevance in the ever-changing security world”, said the firm, focusing on hybrid technologies that scale across multiple on-site and cloud platforms.
