Broadcom has finalised its purchase of VMware for $69bn, receiving approval from China for the merger.
Hock Tan, President and CEO of Broadcom, said: “Together we are well positioned to enable global enterprises to embrace private and hybrid cloud environments, making them more secure and resilient."
Consequently, VMware's common stock will no longer be listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
