Bugcrowd accelerates compliance pentesting with new MSP offering

Bugcrowd, a crowdsourced cybersecurity specialist has launched a new Managed Service Provider (MSP) offering designed to help MSPs swiftly address pentesting backlogs and compliance challenges. The new service leverages Bugcrowd's extensive network of ethical hackers—The Crowd—to provide rapid, scalable pentesting capabilities, enabling small to midsize businesses (SMBs) to meet compliance requirements efficiently.

"Bugcrowd's new MSP offering is a game-changer for our partners and an important step for our program," said Jacques Lopez, VP, Global Channel & Alliances, Bugcrowd. "By leveraging our crowdsourced streamlined-scope pentesting capabilities, MSPs can offer their clients fast, reliable, and cost-effective compliance testing. This enables those clients to stay ahead of regulatory requirements and security threats, while their systems are secure and compliant."

The MSP service features standardized, fast-tracked pentest delivery with engagements launching in as little as three business days. Services include comprehensive testing for networks, APIs, web, mobile applications, and cloud configurations. Pricing for end-users ranges from approximately €4,600 to €13,900, with MSP partners benefiting from discounted rates.

The new MSP offering is already available in Europe, the US, and Canada, with initial European partners under consideration including Cyber Vigilance (UK), Softcat (UK), and GlobalDots (Germany).

"SMBs often struggle to employ the services they need to meet compliance requirements," said Mitch Evans, Director, Cybersecurity Consulting at BARR Advisory. "Bugcrowd’s service not only enhances our ability to deliver high-quality compliance testing to our clients but also helps us scale our operations and meet the growing demand for pentesting services."

Bugcrowd currently has around 25 European partners, with approximately 30% of Bugcrowd's EMEA revenue this fiscal year going through the channel. This is expected to grow further, with Bugcrowd stating that "almost 70% of new business as we progress will be our channel first strategy."
