Expansion into major enterprise software analytics
CA is buying a European enteprise automation specialist. Founded in 1985, Automic is based in Austria and offers a vendor-neutral business automation platform, plus other tools and employs 600 people across Europe, North America and Asia. Formerly UC4 Software and SBB Software, it is an international software company with a range of major customers in automation and analytics.
Assuming transaction closure in early January, CA Technologies expects a one-half percentage point increase in projected revenue, a one percentage point adverse impact on operating margin, primarily attributable to the Enterprise Solutions segment, and moderate dilution to cash flow from operations and EPS. The deal is expected to close in Q4 2017.
