Cancom strengthens DACH foothold with K-Businesscom buy

Cancom has concluded an agreement to acquire Austrian MSP K-Businesscom to boost its presence in the DACH region.

The deal adds intelligent networks, data, and IoT expertise to Cancom's portfolio, alongside existing strengths in public cloud, managed services, and security.

Cancom CEO Rüdiger Rath said: “We have been looking for a long time for a way to bring the CANCOM Group into a noticeably stronger market position more quickly than would have been possible through organic growth, especially in Austria and Switzerland.

“That is why we and the shareholders of K-Businesscom immediately seized the opportunity to work together.”

Following the acquisition, Rath and Cancom CFO Thomas Stark will join K-Businesscom's supervisory board.
