OpenText companies Carbonite + Webroot have signed a distribution agreement with Exertis, a distributor of technology products.
The agreement will see both firms offer a full range of cyber resilience solutions to resellers through Exertis’ cybersecurity division based in Stoke on Trent.
The cyber resilience solutions will also be available through the Exertis’ Cloud and JEM platforms by combining Carbonite’s data protection and migration products with Webroot’s endpoint protection and threat intelligence capabilities.
“Carbonite + Webroot and Exertis have a shared understanding of the challenges today’s resellers face,” said Bee Ahmed, head of EMEA Channel at Carbonite + Webroot. “With the combined power of Carbonite + Webroot’s suite of business solutions, we are the only vendor to offer full cyber resilience. We are always looking for ways to help streamline operations for our partners, and this partnership will allow more businesses of all sizes to benefit from total endpoint protection and comprehensive disaster recovery.”
Carbonite + Webroot aims to help resellers and MSPs add resilience to customer environments by providing secure backup for Microsoft 365 data, securing endpoints, migrating data between servers and the cloud, or providing a complete disaster recovery solution.
Jason Chibnall, MD at Exertis Enterprise, added: “We are delighted to partner with OpenText and to have the opportunity to bring its cyber resilience platform to our channel partners. This a golden opportunity for our reseller partners to deliver relevant solutions to end-users and earn great incremental margins making their businesses stronger.”
