Channel-Sec Live to talk about unwanted selling tricks, adds another sponsor

At Channel-Sec Live on October 20, The Group Chief Information Officer at Anglian Water will talk about what doesn't work for him as a security customer. Steven Trippier, Group CISO and a former management consultant will talk with IT Europa Editor John Garratt about his frustrations as a customer; "I have a low tolerance for poor/lazy techniques and approaches."

He can highlight some examples of people who have cultivated a long-term relationship that provides benefits to all without "dropping any cheap sales tricks".

Those attending the online version of the version of the successful channel engagement event which covers the way security is sold by the channel. In 2020, will also hear a keynote from IDC's Rory Duncan on "Snog, Marry, Avoid - security technologies you need, and some you probably don't". This will be welcomed by the many new entrants to the security channel as there is a new emphasis on countering cyber-attacks in 2020, with many new customers and vertical markets coming under pressure for the first time.

The event has also just added another Platinum sponsor, Malwarebytes - joining Exclusive Networks, IT Glue, Thales, Tech Data, Trend Micro, Kaspersky and Barracuda MSP.

Content organiser John Garratt promises some stimulating sessions...."as we hear directly from experts and customers on how the security channels needs to up their game and avoid obvious mistakes."

A few sponsorship slots are still open- contact
