Check Point hires CCO to lead new GTM organisation

Cybersecurity company Check Point Software has hired Rupal Hollenbeck as its new chief commercial officer to lead its new go-to-market (GTM) organisation after stepping down as a member of its board of directors.

Hollenbeck (pictured), who will take on her new role on March 7, will also oversee the company’s sales and marketing operations globally, with Dan Yerushalmi retiring from his role as chief customer officer at the firm later this year.

“Rupal’s extensive experience and her in-depth knowledge of Check Point as a board member perfectly positions her to lead this new organisation to new records,” said Gil Shwed, CEO at Check Point Software. “We are thankful for Dan’s significant contribution to Check Point and are very proud of the results he has achieved.”

Hollenbeck brings over 25 years of experience as a senior high-tech leader, having built and led high-performance and cross-functional teams across sales, marketing, business development, operations and supply chain.

Prior to Check Point, her roles have included SVP and CMO at Oracle and corporate VP and GM of global data centre sales at Intel. She spent 23 years at Intel, where she held leadership positions in the US and across Asia, including VP and GM of Intel China. Most recently, she served as the CMO of AI hardware start-up Cerebras Systems.

“With the great leadership of Dan Yerushalmi, I join the company at a time of great momentum,” she said.
