Cloud analytics player appoints channels leader

Cloud analytics vendor ThoughtSpot has appointed Kuntal Vahalia as senior vice president of worldwide channels and alliances.

Vahalia (pictured) will manage and oversee ThoughtSpot’s global partner, alliances and channel programmes as part of the go-to-market team.

Vahalia brings more than 20 years of experience creating alliance and partner programmes. Before joining ThoughtSpot, Vahalia spent eight years at MuleSoft, where he was responsible for defining and executing the firm's global ecosystem through partner practices and enablement programmes.

Vahalia said: "There’s an entire ecosystem of players building solutions to tap into the value of data, but they need a means to put that value in the hands of employees and customers. ThoughtSpot’s platform brings together data, search, AI and cloud to help them."

The vendor's Modern Analytics Cloud is said to have generated 175% ARR growth in the last year, with new customers like Rubrik, Komatsu, Frontify, Tata Consumer Products and Harri joining as partners.

ThoughtSpot recently announced $100m in Series F funding.
