Cloud security vendor hires EMEA channels head

New Net Technologies (NNT) has hired a new EMEA channels head as it launches its global partner programme. The cyber-security and compliance software vendor has appointed James Seaton as EMEA channel sales manager and he will oversee the partner programme outside the company's home US region.

The global Partner First Program is designed to expand market reach and empower customers to take advantage of NNT's change control solutions through a growing network of reseller partners.

“With a comprehensive on-boarding programme to include training, support, marketing materials and educational programmes, NNT is now fully equipped to address today's complex security, IT service management and compliance challenges,” said the company.

NNT recently added e92cloud, Tevora, Red River, Netria, Beyond, It's Just Results and IQCG to its partner roster. NNT's SecureOps offering combines foundational security controls as prescribed by leading security frameworks such as CIS and NIST with the operational discipline of change management technology. NNT kicked off its channel expansion with the hiring of Rachel Hanna as channel sales manager in the US this summer to lead the go-to-market strategy. Her responsibilities include managing the partner programme, enablement, incentives and field alignment to ensure both partner and customer success. Both Hanna and Seaton will work with current and future partners to help organisations “drastically reduce” the risk of being breached through the use of secure operations.

Hanna said: "It's an exciting opportunity to bring such a timely and compelling offering to the channel that simplifies cyber-security and compliance with massive cost savings for customers."

Seaton added: "I am eager to work closely with new and existing partners to enable them to find quality leads with sales and marketing, support initial customer engagements and work shoulder-to-shoulder to win customers and become independently capable of delivering our solutions to users everywhere."
