Cloud specialist HyperGrid names Hungarian partner

Using Microsoft private cloud with Azure

HyperGrid, an Enterprise Cloud-as-a-Service specialist, has named Budapest-based Easy Holding as a Hungarian Managed Service Provider (MSP) following the use of HyperGrid’s platform in developing its EasyCloud offering.  Easy Holding delivers IT services to the Hungarian government, hospitality, healthcare and manufacturing sectors.

EasyCloud is a Microsoft-certified cloud infrastructure, run in conjunction with Microsoft’s Azure Pack and Easy Holding is the first Hungarian IT provider to get a Microsoft’s certification for its private cloud offering. The Azure Pack portal runs directly through HyperGrid’s infrastructure, underpinning the entire offering.

“We worked in partnership with HyperGrid to realise our EasyCloud product solution. They were great to work with and we had our own dedicated technical expert from HyperGrid who oversaw the complete development of the EasyCloud supporting infrastructure,” said Tibor Bagi, CTO at Easy Holding. “HyperGrid’s cloud platform has allowed us to bring its consumption-based pricing model to our Hungarian partners and clients and help them realise the true benefits of a flexible cloud approach.”

EasyCloud is designed to run virtual desktops (with Citrix), as well as Oracle and SQL databases and file services all as-a-service supported by the HyperGrid platform. The consumption models offered by HyperGrid ensure that users pay for what they use and, it says, they are not subject to typical vendor lock-in as is the case with many legacy and public cloud based infrastructures.

“Our work with HyperGrid has already been a success and our EasyCloud offering has been picked up by a variety of industries here in Hungary. The ability to offer our clients a purpose built, fully integrated cloud stack that doesn’t lock them in to one specific offering for several years is a unique solution that promises to change the way IT is consumed,” concluded Bagi.
