Compliance deadline approaches on email security as EasyDMARC strikes channel deal

Email remains a vital business communications channel across industries, but its widespread use makes it a prime target for cyber criminals. With the rise of phishing, spoofing, and AI-driven attacks, safeguarding inboxes has never been more crucial.

DMARC protocols help enterprises authenticate legitimate email senders, block fraudulent messages, and achieve compliance with changing email security standards.

With the PCI DSS V4.0 deadline looming at the end of March, businesses are scrambling to implement DMARC (Domain-based Messaging Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance) protocols in time.

But implementing this email authentication tool isn’t just a compliance exercise. According to Verizon, 94% of ransomware attacks in 2024 were delivered via email, making it the most exploited vulnerability in cybersecurity.

To help organisations get compliant, email security provider EasyDMARC is announcing a strategic reseller partnership with GuidePoint Security, making its DMARC authentication solutions available to GuidePoint Security’s extensive customer base.

The collaboration promises to empower organisations to:

Fortify inboxes against advanced cyber threats

Eliminate fraudulent emails and protect domain reputation

Navigate evolving compliance requirements like PCI DSS V4.0 "with ease"

EasyDMARC offers a sales and marketing enablement programme designed to elevate DMARC sales. All features are available for MSPs on a scalable platform with a flexible pay-as-you-go pricing model.

Justin Hollmann, partner manager at EasyDMARC, said: “Phishing, spoofing, and domain impersonation attacks continue to inflict substantial financial losses and reputational harm on businesses worldwide. With major providers mandating DMARC compliance, and upcoming regulations like PCI DSS V4.0 raising the bar for email security, the expectations for protecting inboxes are becoming increasingly stringent. Our collaboration ensures GuidePoint’s clients have access to the tools and support they need to stay ahead of evolving threats and maintain compliance with minimal complexity.”

Justin Iwaniszyn, director of new and emerging alliances at GuidePoint Security, added: “Organisations across all industries are grappling with increasingly sophisticated email-based attacks, from phishing to domain impersonation. These threats not only compromise sensitive data, but can also damage domain reputation and erode trust in communications. Our partnership with EasyDMARC can help our joint customers simplify email security, better protect their email ecosystems, and stay ahead of evolving compliance standards.”
