Comstor, the dedicated Cisco distributor has named Daniel Hurel as its new VP Security Sales Europe. Reporting to Willem de Haan, SVP Comstor Europe, the position aims to provide senior level alignment with Cisco’s Security business and direction to local Comstor security teams. Daniel Hurel has knowledge of the security market and more than 25 years’ experience in distribution. The last 16 years have been with Westcon-Comstor, 13 of which were as General Manager for Security with Westcon France.
The move should also show engagement with Cisco’s security strategy and team will also provide a conduit for partner feedback and more rapid identification of priority areas requiring investment in partner services and support. Hurel says: “By aligning Comstor directly with Cisco’s security team at a strategic level means we can deploy initiatives and technologies through partners more effectively and efficiently.”
