AI hyperscaler CoreWeave has unveiled plans to invest $2.2bn across Europe, aiming to build three new data centres in Norway, Sweden, and Spain.
These centres, powered by 100% renewable energy and featuring NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs and NVIDIA Quantum-2 InfiniBand networking, will be completed by the end of 2025.
The latest plans underscore the firm's commitment to the European market, which it sees as having "enormous opportunity," according to Mike Intrator, CoreWeave's co-founder and CEO.
He said: “We see this as the first of what we hope to be several significant investments in the region as we continue to activate our vision of being the global AI hyperscaler of choice."
CoreWeave is also hiring for roles in engineering, operations, finance, and marketing.
This move follows a $1.3bn investment in the UK, including a new London HQ and two data centres, bringing CoreWeave's total European investment to over $3.5bn.
