Cybersecurity provider opens second regional office at The Hague

Nixu has officially opened its new offices at the Hague Security Delta (HSD) in the Netherlands, marking the next step in the company’s efforts to further expand its operations in the region. The company recently outlined its enhanced strategic intent for the Benelux, which encompasses developing the company’s local presence from a start-up to a scale-up status within three years.

The opening of an extra office in the Netherlands comes at a time where the cybersecurity discussion is again at a pivotal point within regions and industries globally, which brings forth immense business and growth opportunities. But more importantly, becoming part of HSD’s ecosystem is a proof of value of collaboration between industry peers and creates leverage for next level cybersecurity discussions and measures, in the Netherlands and beyond.

For Nixu, occupying a second residence in the Hague, next to its head office in the city of Amsterdam, is a strategically convenient move, but also a much needed one – as Nixu aggressively expands its Benelux based resources in the coming years.

Matthijs van der Wel, Nixu Benelux Market Area Lead: “We have embarked on an incredibly exciting mission of development and growth in the Benelux, to support our 2024 vision to become the trusted, go-to partner for cybersecurity services for digitalization in Northern Europe, as well as the best place to work for cybersecurity professionals. Establishing our second Dutch office at HSD in the Netherlands is a very logical, but also a very needed step to take herein. We believe our collaboration serves multiple joint purposes, and it is a great honor to become part of HSD’s ecosystem. We hope our partnership will contribute to the further establishment of international cyber-pools needed to meet the ever-growing intrinsic demand for knowledge sharing and insight in cybersecurity.”

Suzanne Rijnbergen, who heads Nixu Benelux’ Cyber Defence Center located at the new HSD offices: “I am very pleased with the opening of our new offices and with becoming part of the HSD network. Proud to have our CDC-team based in The Hague going forward. This collaboration with HSD perfectly fits the Netherlands’ ambition to continue to support public-private cooperation in the field of cybersecurity, and I am certain it will help Nixu connect to other cybersecurity organizations, universities and businesses internationally – an initiative we know is also strongly supported by the City of the Hague.”
