Established businesses combine, overlapping vendor relationships
SecureData and Cygnia Technologies Ltd (“Cygnia”), both in cybersecurity services, have joined forces with Cygnia becoming a SecureData company. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. In 2016 Cygnia reported sales of around £9m and operates from offices in Birmingham and Central London. All of Cygnia’s employees will remain with the group.
Both SecureData and Cygnia are steeped in the roots of the cybersecurity industry having been established in 1992 and 2007 respectively. Both organisations are well known to each other and share many of the same partnerships with the world’s leading cybersecurity equipment and software manufacturers.
