EET signs up barox to extend surveillance offering

Pan-European VAR EET Group has sealed a distribution agreement with barox Kommunikation for its network switches, which are designed for the needs of the video surveillance market across various demanding verticals.

barox’s full range of switches for video, media converters and IP extenders will now be available through EET across Scandinavia, Spain and France.

The vendor is headquartered in Baden, Switzerland with distribution operations in Lörrach, Germany. It serves key customers in aviation, construction, government, hospitality, military and oil and gas.

Jesper Rosenmeier, group product manager of EET, said: “Teaming with barox will make it possible for our system integrator partners to manage security network and connected devices in the most demanding video surveillance projects.”

barox CEO Rudolf Rohr added: “We have gained a reputation as a market leader in our home markets of Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and strategically partnering with EET allows us to build a channel that will help us serve a growing appetite for our network switches in Scandinavia, Spain and France.”

Earlier this month, EET acquired Oprema, a growing distributor of CCTV, access control, intrusion, fire and networking products in the UK, to further accelerate growth in its surveillance and security unit.
