IT distributor ELKO Group has announced it has become the first distributor certified to bring Infinix Mobile products to the Polish market.
Headquartered in Hong Kong, Infinix is a smartphone company that specialises in providing phones with a customised user interface known as XOS, which it says changes the appearance of Android OS and adds several extra features.
“The Polish market is of key importance to Infinix because of their demanding tech-savvy population, disposable income, and geographic presence for a potential further expansion in the future,” Benjamin Jiang, MD of Infinix.
In addition to smartphones, Infinix also offers a portfolio of vivid colour notebooks and Android-based TVs, which will potentially be made available to customers in Poland in the imminent future.
"The market, and our Polish customers, have shown interest in having new smartphone brands at an affordable price and with features for youth,” added Baiba Indane, head of branded unit at ELKO Group. “We are happy to meet this demand and be the first to introduce the Polish market to Infinix, a brand which is gaining popularity exponentially worldwide. The product tests by local partners have gone well, and we see a high interest in putting the products on shelves along with the first deliveries in late June."
ELKO says it provides a wide range of products and services to over 10,000 retailers, local computer manufacturers, system integrators and enterprises within various verticals in 12 countries in Europe.
