Telecom provider Ericsson has announced the head of its managed services business area, Peter Laurin, is leaving the company to become CEO of Piab.
Laurin has worked at Ericsson since 2001 and has served on Ericsson’s executive team since 2017. He will leave his role and Ericsson’s executive team on 15 August this year.
"Peter has been instrumental in turning around and transforming our managed services business, and successfully led Ericsson's digitalisation and IT journey,” said Börje Ekholm, president and CEO. “He is a valued member of the Ericsson leadership team and I wish Peter all the very best in this new role as CEO of Piab.”
Ericsson said his replacement will be announced in due course.
